sand | Am Spanish.. It has always been lengua for us during the holidays.. Only know how to eat, not cook but I think it is pressure cooked.. Marinated in white wine or maybe u add it some time + a lot of olives.. |

hippichick | How bout this??? MY AMAZING Queso dip~ Velveeta, rotel tomatos, chorizo, and I experimented this time with roasted red potatos, home grown rosemary and garlic as a topper.. SHHHHHsh...I put a few of those taters in the mix~ Ahm...it went like wildfire on Thanksgiving at work... SO simple and SO GOOD! |
ghanima81 | I make stuffed mushrooms that are pretty good. I start by cooking bacon on a skillet. I then drain the bacon fat into a pan and sautee fresh minced garlic and diced apples in the fat with white onion. I prepare a pork stuffing and combine all the ingredients. I also put in goat cheese, chopped pecans and chopped dried cranberries. Stuff the mushrooms, bake and top with a combo of goat cheese and fresh grated Parmesan cheese. YUM! |

Strawberry Sweetheart Macarons with Dark Chocolate Ganache (Printable Recipe) Makes: 30 to 35 filled macarons For the macaron shells: 90 grams egg whites (about 3) preferably aged 3-5 days in the fridge pinch of kosher salt 30 grams granulated sugar 185 grams powdered sugar 110 grams almonds 10 grams freeze dried strawberries A pinch of powdered red food coloring (optional) For the Dark Chocolate Ganache: 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped 1/4 cup heavy cream (substitute for dairy if your dairy free: coconut milk, cashew milk + 1-3 tablespoons of hazelnut flour/almond (crushed nuts) 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules Place chocolate and instant coffee in a heat proofed bowl. In a small sauce pan, heat the heavy cream until simmer. Pour hot cream into the bowl of chocolate mixture and stir until smooth and shinny. Let cool slightly before use.
